Financial records, 1877-1895.

This series consists of two kinds of records: Cash Journals and Account Ledgerbooks. The cash journals are arranged chronologically by day providing a record of cash receipts and exenditures. The account ledgerbook contains essentially the same data, but is arranged by subject. Typical sources of income were passenger ticket sales and freight shipments. Expenditures incude labor, maintenance, and supplies. Information is incomplete, as there are many blank pages.
